Oblivion Screenshots PG version

Postby neildarkstar » Thu Oct 18, 2012 6:35 am

Ovlivion has some very cool possibilities for screenies, and I noticed there is no thread where screenshots without adult content could be displayed for innocents like me. :)
On to the meat.

I'm so sorry...
He attacked me, raving like a madman, and swinging a huge sword at my head. I tried to reason with him, tried to assure him that his true love would disregard his... oddity. In the end, he gave me no choice. Heaven forgive me, I've slain Cyrano de Bergerac!

I can only get this colour with Brittainy's water mod Lush and Gaudy Water http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42438 and her recommended ini changes (because of those changes I turn reflections off to maintain fps) and this 5 in 1 sun mod Cinematic Sunglare by Guilaster http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42586 and in this landspace; East Island Nirai-Kanai by aoringo http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/41724

I am not sure why I said reflections are turned off when obviously they are on. The water's colour is a reflection of the sun.

The sun works differently. If the reflections were on, you would see reflections of mountains and trees in the water. Maybe even reflections of her.

Cool. I didn't know that. Thanks
But I do know that reflections are on because I took these pics last night and I was seeing reflections. Brittainy's mod requires that you make certain ini changes and one of those is that reflections be turned on. It is odd that there isn't any reflection of the character when she is standing in the water??? Maybe it was shadowing that I turned off? I will double check. I seemed to be getting much more of a pearl water colour effect the last time I did this.

@neildarkstar; Thanks for the help here. It seems something was screwy with my settings. My ini was set up properly but another program I use for visuals had different settings so sometimes I had reflections and sometimes I didn't. I knew it didn't look right. All fixed now. TY

I am almost finished making this Moonshadow elf. I have named her Moonspell and I plan on removing the tattoo and adding shiny skin.
