- Provide a place where adult content can be freely discussed without judgment.
To accomplish these purposes, we have one absolute rule that applies to everyone:

Please read all of the below guidelines. Your continued usage of this site constitutes an implied agreement that you have read and agree to adhere to the following. If you do not agree to this, please send me a PM notifying me of that and I will delete your account.
Please familiarize yourself with the contents of this article on forum etiquette.
No redundant topics, cross-posting (i.e. starting two threads with the same topic,) spamming, or trolling.
Initiating a flame war purposefully is prohibited.
- No discussion of illegal topics (such as software piracy, hacking, terrorism, etc) will be permitted.
- Profanity and vulgarity are not allowed in topic titles or usernames. Please use discretion.
- Profanity and vulgarity in a post body should be kept to a minimum; we will not remove such so long as it is fits the general "feeling" of the thread and is not excessive. The adult chat areas are exempt from this, but the staff reserves the right to edit posts that include excessive profanity.
- Adult content (i.e. nudity) is only permitted in those forums designated for such.
- "Goodbye" threads are not allowed. Please note that we differentiate between "goodbye" and "farewell" threads; the former are generally hostile or angry in nature while the latter involves genuine concern for friendships.
- Content that may be deemed as offensive or polarizing should not be included in signatures, avatars, topic titles, usernames, or other locations that are visible in "common areas" of the site. This includes but is not limited to political and religious statements. We encourage civil discussion of such topics so long as it remains in the "Anything Goes" forum.The staff reserve the right to remove any prohibited content with or without prior notice. Failure to comply to such staff actions is grounds for formal warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans.
Signatures may contain anything else that is not offensive or otherwise distasteful. Advertisements for corporate ventures are not permitted, but those for personal enterprise are acceptable.
- No Rape, depictions of rape, or mods that allow the player character to rape another. This includes, but is not limited to: bestiality, necrophilia, and slave sex. The only exceptions to this are mods in which the player character can be raped because by using the mod, the player implies consent to the potential of being raped.
- No Scat, golden showers, or mutilations. There are plenty of other sites which cater to this subject matter and depictions of it.
- No posting pics, links, or anything else dealing with pedophilia and/or child pornography - this includes games which contain child porn as well. If the characters or people in the pics or links can't be verified to be 18 or older on a casual glance, it will not be acceptable here.
Plagiarism and Copyright Infringement:
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Utilizing any user-created resources in a mod of your own without explicit permission from the original author; this includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Textures, meshes, and other artwork.
- Scripts and other mod-related code.
- Characters, quests, and other literary creations.
- Using any mod either partially or in its entirety in a compilation or larger work without the expressed permission of the original author(s) and giving proper credit.
- Redistributing a mod with no readme (wherein one was originally included) or modifying the original author's readme.
- United States' and International copyright laws apply to all mods hosted at Wolflore.
- Mods for games produced by Bethesda Softworks made using their respective Bethesda created editors (e.g. Construction Set, G.E.C.K) are subject to the respective EULAs. Typically this means that the plugin file type and all associated resources are the property of Bethesda Softworks and they maintain all rights. Mods and resources made using other tools (e.g. textures, 3d models, and 3rd party scripts) are not subject to the aforementioned EULAs. Ownership of such resources remains with the original author.
- Copyright Infringement includes, but is not limited to:
- Uploading or otherwise distributing a mod to a location or provider that is explicitly against the will of the original author.
- Including original game resources (ex. Bethesda, Blizzard, Black Isle, etc.) or other copyrighted material in your mod in violation of those companies' EULAs.
- How to avoid Copyright Infringement:
- If you have another author's work, and you want to use that work in your mod, you need to get permission from that author, and then you need to cite credit and permission in your readme. If the author is MIA, you need to state so in your readme along with credit for the specific works.
- Include a readme with explicit usage and sharing permissions.
Plagiarism and copyright violations are cause for account termination, including permanent username, IP address, and email address bans. Open discussion of copyright violations with the intent to circumvent such copyrights is prohibited. Posting of, or discussing, links to torrents or other file sharing systems with the intent to circumvent copyright is prohibited. Openly supporting those who willfully and blatantly violate copyright protection is prohibited.
Avoiding plagiarism and copyright infringement in any community is all about respect. Mod authors all freely give of time and efforts, and simply ask that common courtesy be extended.
We occasionally grant private or semi-private forums to members or groups for specific purposes, such as projects, competitions, etc. The listed moderator (usually the member who requested the forum) administers their own forum. They are free to admit, deny, or remove the access of any member to their forum. If a forum moderator denies you access, please do not request access from staff members, because we won't give you access. Please Note: All Wolflore staff will have full access to these forums. Forum or group moderators are expected to follow the site rules and anyone who enters and those who are granted access are expected to abide by their rules. To request a private or semi-private forum, PM a member of staff and let us know the purpose of the request. To request access to a private or semi-private forum, PM the forum moderator.
- Forum threads/topics will be locked once they reach 250 posts; this helps prevent the server from slowing down when accessing popular threads. Members are encouraged to open a new thread to continue any thread locked for post count.
- Threads that contain questionable content may be moved into our staff room for review. Whether or not a thread is returned to the forum from which it came is entirely at the discretion of the staff.
- Wolflore staff reserve the right to move threads to any category we deem necessary.
- If forum rules are broken, action will be taken depending upon the severity and perceived intent. A member may receive a "verbal" warning via PM and often further action is determined by the member's reply. We do keep records of these conversations.
- Subsequent violations will result in formal warnings issued through the forum's warning system.
- Wolflore staff reserve the right to ban a member who repeatedly and/or blatantly violates forum rules, or who otherwise makes Wolflore an unpleasant place for the rest of the membership. We do consider this to be a last resort.
- Unactivated user accounts or those without valid contact information (i.e. a defunct or false email address) will be pruned every 30 days. Inactive accounts may be deleted after 180 days.
- Site Administrators reserve the right and responsibility of updating these guidelines as the need arises.
- If you see a post that violates any of these policies, please use the Report button on the post and/or PM any staff member.
- The order of responsibility for maintaining any thread is as follows:
- The original poster, who determines the thread topic and must decide whether or not it abides by the site rules by his/her own understanding of them.
- Readers of the thread, who decide whether or not the topic falls within site rules by his/her own understanding of them.
- Contributors to the thread, who decide whether or not their own contributions are relevant to the thread topic and abide by site rules by his/her own understanding of them.
- Forum Moderators, who must determine if the thread/posts abide by forum rules as well as site rules.
- Wolflore Staff, who make the determination as to whether a post or thread which violates forum rules should be edited, moved, or deleted and what, if any punitive action is to be taken.
- Staff Administrators, whose job is to keep all of Wolflore a safe and friendly place. It is our responsibility to ensure that the site rules are clearly posted and updated regularly.
