I would imagine the same people who play MMORPGs will play this one. If they aren't into fantasy RP, then it won't be very popular and will probably discontinue. I really doubt it will bring anyone who has never particularly been interested in MMOGs into the fold, nor is it likely to convert people who don't favor fantasy.

2) You don't like it, don't play it.
3) If you make it and you like it, don't listen to anyone else.

A real life example of what can go wrong, recounted on a Sacred Forum by a rueful Player1:
(after a run)
Player1: You're pretty handy in a fight.
Player2: Thanks! I've managed to get some decent items. That helps.
Player1: like what? (Tosses moderate item on the ground) This is quite handy.
Player2:(Grabs item. Drops it again) Yeah that is quite good. (Drops very impressive item) I have this!
Player1: (Inspects item, then drops it) That's almost as good as I've seen anywhere. Look at this though! (drops item)
Player1: (Grabs Item) SUCKER!!!!!! (Drops network connection).
(after a run)
