-I would have resurrected him. . .but apparently the were-guar really DID eat him because there was no body to click. Ah well, I DID still have Jasmine, until Julan teleported me. I don't think I'll have any luck find her either. Jac, I have really bad luck with your companions, and I don't think I'm allowed to come over and play with them anymore. :( -

Well, melian's teleportation mod will teleport even dead companions to you, but it requires MWSE. I won't even have companions without mel's mod loaded, but some people absolutely will not run MWSE. The multimark function is nice, too.
Available for weddings, funerals, hand fasting, and baptisms.

Go ask Elone where she is and she'll be back in front of her house provided she's not dead as well. As for Morte, he may be difficult to see only being a skull and all, but he should still be where he fell.

I had a thought (never a good thing -- I'm with Neildarkstar on that...)
But, it might be fun to give Morte some of the lines from the shrunken head on the Knight Bus in the "Harry Potter- Prisoner of Azkaban" movie.

Particularly this one, for when the Player orders "Let's Go" or "Follow Me":
"Yeah, take it away, %PCName. It's goin' t' be a bumpeh ride! Heh! Heh! Heh!"
(with the full Caribbean accent and everything, since Morte can assume any persona he wishes...)

And, of course, the famous "Countdown" (when appropriate):
"Five..Four..'Tree..Two an' a half..Two..One an' t'ree quarters..."

I can't promise I'll add those lines, DARoot, but I'll definitely think about them. If you have any more, it might make an update worthwhile. :biggrin:

But, the stuff's probably copyrighted.
Wouldn't want the lawyers from Warner Brothers or J.K. Rowling come knockin' at your door.

Just something for us End-Users to contemplate.
If we do it ourselves, for our own private use, then nobody's toes get stepped on.

Change the wording/punctuation slightly and it's yours, no-one can copyright the language.

Couple Thoughts:

1. You are creeping through a dark, dank, mysterious cavern [or tomb], and all of a sudden. Morte decides to launch into his rendition of "Wooly Booly" by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs:
"Sallie tol' Hattie
'Bout a thing she saw...
Had two big horns,
An' a wooly jaw...
Wooly Boolly...
Wooly Boolly...
Heh! Heh! Heh!"


or

2. You are surrounded by enemies, intent on mayhem, and Morte decides to taunt them [in an out-r-r-rageous French accent] :
"You don' frighten us, you seeely Eeenglish Pig-Dogs!
Your mother was a hamster,
And your father smells of elderberries!
Now, go away, or Ah shall taunt you a second time-mh!"

Those are great, DARoot, but it's a pain to try and limit them to specific situations. The first could be done in a particular tomb, but the second...I don't think the engine keeps track of how many enemies are fighting you.
