NV armor

So, I'm curious - Has anyone made the Ranger Combat Armor chestpiece seperately?
I love the look of it, but every time it's used, it's got some jacket or coat over it. What's wrong with going sleeveless? Anyone know if someone's done something like that?

No idea if anyone's done it, but I suspect that the chest piece doesn't exist separately, but is actually a part of the duster or whatever with no back or sides. It'd have to be entirely remade in Blender or something similar.

Hm. What I'd love is to just have a sleeveless vest with it, then. Chop the sleeves off that Road Fighter armor. Never figured out how to do that.

Of course, then I'd need to make it work with Breeze, and it'd just be a pain.
I can barely get New Vegas to run right and I wanna make custom armors.

I've just settled for doing things that only require retexturing, or placing or altering things on a minimal basis. armor is difficult because of the way they are made since Skyrim. That is, if you chopped off the sleeves of that armor for instance, you would probably have a character with invisible arms. It dependson who made the nif, and whether or not the body is under the outer layer.

I'm just rolling with Leather/Reinforced leather. Not exactly the Fallout 1 Leather Jacket I was hoping for, but I'll live with it.
